How many of us are struggling with our daily routine or lack of it?
We all started off great with a schedule of homeschooling, a set time for exercise, lunch actually at lunchtime…whilst juggling working from home or just trying to keep the kids entertained for hours on end – and it worked for while.
Then it all just came apart the longer ‘lockdown’ continued. There are definitely days I feel totally unproductive as I’m out of my routine.
What can you do? Be kind to yourself. Enjoy the little things. ‘Re-write your daily routine. Get up and get dressed every day and face your day with a plan. Set a goal, such as clearing out cupboards, baking, reading, calling a friend or listening to a guided meditation or breathing relaxation techniques on YouTube.’ Some great advice from Donegal Woman @donegalwoman.ie
It doesn’t have to be big or challenging. Be realistic. Achieving a goal is great for the soul!
